Cantine Aperte in Canavese: wine, landscape and wine tourism

On the weekend of 30–31 May 2026 the Canavese area takes part in Cantine Aperte, the Movement for Wine Tourism event that opens wineries and vineyards to the public. The initiative aims to showcase local production and wine-tourism offerings, combining technical tastings with outdoor experiences.

The program includes a variety of activities: historic cellars opening their barrel rooms, sensory routes dedicated to local varieties such as Erbaluce di Caluso and Canavese nebbiolos, and experiences that highlight recent investments in hospitality and sustainability.

  • Guided visits to wineries and vineyards;
  • Tastings and masterclasses on vintages and local grape varieties;
  • Picnics among the rows, brunches and evening snacks;
  • E-bike and jeep tours through vineyards and panoramic walks;
  • Family-friendly activities and sensory labs for children.

Cantine Aperte also represents an economic showcase for restaurants, agritourisms and small producers: the event brings benefits to the local tourism economy and helps strengthen Canavese's profile within Piedmont's wine landscape.

For detailed schedules and participating wineries consult the official event calendar and local announcements: each winery presents its own program to tell the story of its land and production.
