A cultural weekend in Pesaro for Liberation Day

From 24 to 26 April 2026 Pesaro hosts a varied program of museum openings and exhibitions highlighting the city's artistic heritage, archaeology and industrial history.

Main highlights include:

• Palazzo Mosca Civic Museums and Casa Rossini: collections of ceramics, paintings and rooms dedicated to the composer.
• National Rossini Museum (Palazzo Montani Antaldi): a comprehensive exhibition on Rossini's life and works.
• Sonosfera® (Palazzo Mosca): the technological amphitheatre features Fragments of Extinction in the Climate Clock and Raffaello in Sonosfera® at scheduled times over the weekend.
• Archaeological area of Via dell’Abbondanza and Colombarone: visits to a Roman domus and the local antiquarium.
• Bicycle Museum (Palazzo Gradari) and Officine Benelli Museum: two-wheel collections open with indicated booking procedures.
• The Synagogue and Diocesan Museum: visits illustrating religious and civic history of the city.

Featured exhibitions include the major retrospective on Ferruccio Mengaroni, a solo show by Lorenzo Amadori, a selection from the Giuliano Vangi legacy and an installation by Oliviero Fiorenzi in the Church of the Suffrage.
