Cocconato celebrates the Ancient Fair of San Marco: tradition, flavors and local heritage

On 25 April 2026 the village of Cocconato d’Asti hosts the Ancient Fair of San Marco, a traditional Monferrato event that draws visitors from across Piedmont. From 10:30 AM until the evening, the historic centre will come alive with markets, tastings and family activities.

• More than 100 stalls featuring food and wine, local crafts and typical products.
• Stands and tastings fostering direct contact between producers and the public.
• Cultural initiatives and events throughout the historic centre to showcase the village's landscape and architectural heritage.

The fair is conceived as a moment of community and territorial promotion: an opportunity to discover Monferrato's specialties and to reinforce Cocconato's role as a destination for experiential tourism in Piedmont.
