Horse Green Day 2026 in Padua: a day on rural tourism with the horse

On 27 April 2026 the Salone of the Palazzo della Ragione in Padua will host Horse Green Day, a working day promoted within the "Italia con il Cavallo" project. The event brings together institutions, businesses, tourism operators, the agricultural sector and research bodies to develop an integrated model for valorising rural areas through horse-related resources and products.

• Where: Salone of the Palazzo della Ragione, Padua (Piazza delle Erbe).
• Focus: presentation of the "Italia con il Cavallo" project, regenerative tourism, co-design of tourist itineraries and training for operators.

Speakers include representatives from the Municipality and Province of Padua, the Chamber of Commerce, ANCI, agricultural associations (Coldiretti, Confagricoltura, CIA), organisations such as Final Furlong and Simtur, and academic experts. The venue was chosen also for the presence of the historic Cavallo Ligneo, underlining the area's equestrian heritage.

Horse Green Day functions as a territorial workshop to build coherent, sustainable tourism offers combining multifunctional agriculture, short supply chains, biodiversity protection and local culture, while defining quality standards and training pathways for operators.
