MiTur launches "Welcome to the Dream, Welcome to Italia"
The Ministry of Tourism, with the support of Enit Spa, has launched the promotional campaign "Welcome to the Dream, Welcome to Italia", aimed at showcasing the attractions of Calabria, Sardinia and Sicily and countering negative images following Cyclone Harry.
- The campaign begins today at major Italian train stations and targets both domestic and key international markets.
- Target markets include Germany, France, the United States, Poland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Austria, Australia, Spain and the Benelux area.
- Goal: strengthen Italy's image as a safe, welcoming destination by promoting cultural heritage, trails, villages and landscapes.
Tourism minister Gianmarco Mazzi emphasized the need for "a positive narrative to counter negative images," highlighting the strategic role of the domestic market for visitor numbers in the three regions.
