Now in its third year, Cremona Contemporanea Art Week 2026 will return from 18 to 26 May, transforming Cremona’s historic centre into a vast space dedicated to contemporary art. The event, launched in 2023 thanks to the organisation of NOT Titled YET and the artistic direction of Rossella Farinotti, aims to create a dialogue between contemporary art and the city’s historical heritage through exhibitions, installations, performances and events taking place throughout the city.

Over the years, the event has become an important cultural landmark, attracting artists, curators, collectors and enthusiasts from all over Italy. The 2026 edition will once again feature around twenty international artists invited to engage with some of Cremona’s most evocative locations, including historic palaces, courtyards, monasteries and spaces normally closed to the public.

Among this year’s new features, Rossella Farinotti will be joined by curators Ettore Favino and Stefano Pirovano to create an even richer and more multidisciplinary exhibition programme. The “Faville” projects, dedicated to independent exhibitions and artistic experimentation, will also return. Many events will be free of charge, and the city will be easily accessible thanks to rail links and dedicated shuttle services.
