Festiv’Alba 2026: 35 events amid archaeology, music and nature
From 29 June to 22 August, the tenth edition of Festiv’Alba returns with 35 live performances designed to showcase the archaeological and historical heritage of the Marsica area.
- Opening: 31 July at the Roman amphitheatre of Alba Fucens with Negrita (“La storia, i viaggi e le canzoni”), the only date in Central-Southern Italy.
- Line-up: 10 main events in the amphitheatre (31 July–9 August), 20 concerts of classical and early music in churches and abbeys, and 5 concerts set in nature.
- Notable guests: Angelo Branduardi, Moni Ovadia, Giuseppe and Micol Pambieri, Ambrogio Sparagna, Tony Esposito, plus tributes to De André and Pink Floyd.
- Special programmes: ancient theatre cycle, a production of Verdi’s “Il Trovatore”, and the decennial show “Transumanza di suoni erranti”.
- Purpose: the festival aims to foster cultural and sustainable tourism by highlighting the Parco archeologico di Alba Fucens and other regional sites.
Festiv’Alba is organized by the Harmonia Novissima association with support from Fondazione Carispaq, the Ministry of Culture, the Abruzzo Region and other institutional partners. Full programme and ticket information are available on the festival’s official channels.
