Ville Aperte returns to Brianza: spring programme

From 9 to 17 May 2026 the 24th spring edition of Ville Aperte in Brianza invites the public to visit 48 cultural sites — villas, historic residences and parks — across 35 municipalities in Monza and Brianza, Lecco, Como and the Metropolitan City of Milan.

• Opening: Saturday 9 May 2026 at 18:00 in the Spazio Stendhal of Villa Tittoni in Desio, with a concert curated by Early Music Italia as part of «Brianza Classica» (free event, reservation required).
• Edition symbol: Villa Cusani Traversi Antona Tittoni in Desio, a notable example of a Lombard villa with designs by Piermarini and enhancements by Pelagio Palagi.
• New entries: Villa Burba Medici Cornaggia in Rho debuts in the programme; special visits include the Carolina Borromeo route at Museo Bagatti Valsecchi on 10 May (Mother's Day).
• Family offers: children’s activities, thematic escape room experiences and interactive routes with maps and worksheets (e.g. Villa «La Rotonda» in Inverigo; the escape room in Oreno di Vimercate).
• Special itineraries: on the weekend of 16–17 May the «Fanta-city: The Hero’s Journey» route in Lurago d'Erba features storytelling performances across historic farms and countryside trails.
