Porte Rosse presents Imanatma, the solo show by artist Testasecca: an exhibition that translates the boundary between dreamlike and real dimensions into visual form, outlining an intimate geography of light, shadow and suspended figures.
The presented works go beyond mere chromatic or iconographic contrast: they build suspended worlds populated by figures that approach the metaphysical, acting as conduits for a psychological and perceptual journey.
Testasecca (Lucangelo Bracci), born in Catania in 1988 and raised in Rome, has forged an artistic path that blends drawing, urban art and psychological narration. His experience includes educational work, projects in India, large-scale murals, an illustration book published in 2017, solo exhibitions and collaborations with media outlets. He currently works from his studio in Montepulciano.
The exhibition functions as a sensory narrative device where image becomes a threshold between inner life and the external world, tracing transitions and moments of resistance within the artist's experience.
Practical tips: the opening night offers a chance to meet the artist and experience the curated sound design. Admission is free; arriving early is recommended during peak times.
