On Friday, April 24 at 19:30 the Sala Marianna Elmo at the Museo Storico della Città di Lecce (MUST) hosts the first solo exhibition in Italy by Giacomo De Luca, titled "Il corpo reliquia - What remains of the egg: resistance, archive and spirituality in the contemporary".
The show is part of the Paesaggi Mediterranei program of Lecce Contemporanea Mediterranea and launches a wider, city-wide project that will animate sacred sites, institutions and unconventional spaces.
De Luca's multidisciplinary practice interweaves sculpture, video and performance to investigate relations between body, organic matter and the sacred. The installation unfolds as a staged archive, addressing endurance and spiritual traces within contemporary art. Trained at the Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the artist has participated in prominent international events and received notable awards in 2025-2026.
Practical info: for bookings, guided tours or entry details contact the official MUST channels. Additional events related to the city program may be scheduled during the exhibition run.
