Resist to Communicate: the ANPI exhibition in Treviso

From 18 April to 1 May 2026, Palazzo dei CCC in Treviso presents Resist to Communicate, an exhibition that uses graphic design and illustration to tell the story of twenty years of activity by the ANPI (provincial Treviso and national).

  • Designer and curator: Gabriele Sossella
  • Location: Palazzo dei CCC, Treviso
  • Opening: Saturday 18 April, 11:00
  • Visiting hours: public holidays and weekday afternoons (check the official flyer for exact times)

Far from being merely an archive, the exhibition combines posters, publications and multimedia content to reconstruct ANPI’s history and its role in the Republic’s memory. Visual language becomes an active tool for civic engagement, conveying the energy of commemorations, cultural events and social initiatives.

Exhibition layout and highlights

The exhibition is organized into thematic sections to guide visitors through historical and cultural contexts:

  • Posters from the Cansiglio meetings — a symbolic site of the partisan struggle and the operations of the Nino Nannetti Garibaldian Division.
  • Places of memory — materials linking local and national events.
  • Multimedia communication — audiovisuals and digital documents complementing the visual narrative.
  • Initiatives linked to the Constitution and the promotion of peace, equality and anti-racism.
  • "Resist Does Not Age" section — posters and outreach materials illustrating ongoing educational activities.

Why attend

  • Provides a visual and documentary perspective on antifascist values, democracy and historical memory.
  • Makes rare graphic materials accessible and contextualized for the public.
  • Encourages reflection on the roots of the Constitution and the relevance of civic struggles today.

The project has been acknowledged by the Veneto Region. After the Treviso opening, the exhibition will tour other municipalities in the province, including a stop in Vittorio Veneto. For practical details and exact opening hours please refer to the event flyer.
