An exhibition focusing on the ethical role of contemporary graphic design arrives in Catania: 40 posters created within the Master's programme in Design for Publishing explore the relationship between visual communication, memory and civic engagement. Curated by Gianni Latino, the show aims to translate the memory of the Resistance into purposeful design.
The exhibition frames graphic design as a public language and a responsibility: not merely a formal exercise but an act that shapes perception and builds awareness. The display echoes historical exhibitions on the Resistance and invites visitors to consider images as instruments of memory and civic reconstruction.
Visiting gives insight into how academic training transforms historical and civic themes into contemporary visual languages, preparing designers attentive to the social impact of communication.
