For Fuorisalone 2026, MA-EC Gallery hosts three independent projects that offer contemporary perspectives on matter, the body and environmental relationships. Exhibited in the rooms of Palazzo Durini, the works form distinct paths across painting, sculpture and site-specific installation.

• Aliteia — The garden of flowers that fled the vase

  Aliteia's practice links paintings made at the Royal College of Art with sculptural experiments probing hybridization and species mutation. The works arise from performative practices that turn gesture into a pictorial process, while the Impossible plants sculptures reflect on biodiversity and forms that resist classification.

• Avvassena — Cosmic twinning

  Avvassena presents work that connects body, language and matter: from overlapping abdominal X-rays that dissolve individual singularity to manipulated plates and signs recalling a primordial language. The new piece Gregariousness 1. From Plank to Googol examines aggregation processes and the density of material-social connections.

• Marcello Vigoni — EGOSISTEMI#2: The Water Threshold

  Vigoni offers a site-specific installation with two fixed-frame videos investigating the tension between human control and the indeterminacy of water. The aquatic element becomes a metaphor for the fragility of human systems of measurement and domination, prompting reflection on scale and human finitude.

Why visit: the exhibition brings together diverse media and practices while maintaining a common thread: an inquiry into forms of relation — among species, individuals and the environment — and a sensitivity to transformation, fragility and interdependence.

• Aliteia (Alice Babolin): b. 1985, based in Treviso; background in Philology and recent studies at the Royal College of Art.
• Avvassena: b. 1998, active in Milan; trained in Interior Design and Communication, working on projects addressing social and environmental themes.
• Marcello Vigoni: b. 1979, Milan-based; career spanning graphic design, communication and photography, with experience as an art director.
