Presentation of the Festival dell'Appennino 2026 at the MIC

On Wednesday April 29 at 12:00, the press conference for the 17th edition of the Festival dell'Appennino – Inclusive of Nature will take place in the Sala Spadolini of the Ministry of Culture (Via del Collegio Romano, 27).

• Speakers: Guido Castelli (Extraordinary Commissioner for the 2016 earthquakes), Lucia Albano (Undersecretary to the MEF), Luigi Contisciani (President of BIM Tronto) and Carlo Lanciotti (artistic director).
• Mayors of the 28 participating municipalities will also attend.

The Festival will run from May 3 to October 31, 2026, featuring 31 events across four regions (Marche, Abruzzo, Lazio and Umbria). The 2026 claim, "A due passi da te", invites discovery and promotion of inland territories, focusing on culture, nature and local gastronomic excellence.

Now in its seventeenth edition, the initiative aims to support territorial regeneration and the cultural and tourist relaunch of areas affected by the 2016 earthquakes, fostering cooperation between local communities and institutions.
