Monferrato Echos: a musical route through heritage and landscape

From April 25 to June 21, 2026 the festival organized by the Ondasonora APS association with artistic director Sergio Marchegiani returns for its 28th edition. The programme includes 24 concerts ranging from classical to contemporary repertoire, staged in towns and historic sites across the province of Alessandria and the Monferrato hills.

The festival pairs music with territorial promotion: concerts are frequently accompanied by guided tours and special openings, organized with art historians and local cultural associations.

The programme also presents thematic routes linking homogeneous geographic areas — from Upper and Lower Monferrato to the Tortonese area — and historical circuits such as the “Strada Franca del Monferrato.” Returning this year is the Places of Wine cycle, three events combining concerts and wine tastings in the GranMonferrato landscape, produced in collaboration with the Strada dei vini e dei sapori del GranMonferrato.
