Club “Il Volante” of Sassari wins two ASI National Awards

On 7 March, at the Automotoretrò fair in Parma, the Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI) presented Club Auto e Moto d’Epoca “Il Volante” with the ASI Solidale Prize and the Vittorio Zanon Prize for the Scala di Giocca–Osilo event.

The awards acknowledge the club’s work in safeguarding historic vehicles as living cultural heritage and its social initiatives in the local community.

• Awards: ASI Solidale Prize and Vittorio Zanon Prize (Scala di Giocca–Osilo).
• Background: founded on 22 March 1991, the club is a reference point for historic motoring in northern Sardinia.
• Activities: CRS certifications, issuance of the prestigious Targa Oro, solidarity drives including the ASI Epiphany initiative and blood donation days.
• Events: the Scala di Giocca–Osilo, born as a hill climb in 1924, will return on 23–24 May as a regularity and cultural tourism event.

Based at via Roma 95 in Sassari and led by president Vanda Casula, Club “Il Volante” blends historical passion, youth training and partnerships with local authorities to make historic mobility an accessible cultural asset.
