National Historic Houses Day in Lazio – 24 May 2026
Sunday 24 May 2026 marks the National Historic Houses Day: more than 40 palaces, villas, castles and historic courtyards across Lazio will be open to the public free of charge, organized by the Association of Italian Historic Houses (ADSI).
Theme for 2026
This year's edition carries the title "Guardians of the future. A living heritage for shared value", underlining the role of private historic properties as collective cultural assets to be protected for future generations.

- Villa Lubin (Villa Borghese, Rome) opens to the public for the first time during this event.
- Volunteers from the Touring Club Italiano will be present in selected residences to guide visitors, following a national agreement.

Openings cover the provinces of Rome, Viterbo, Rieti, Frosinone and Latina. Highlights include (examples):
