When: 31 May – 2 June 2026
Where: Chiostro del Comune – Former Dominican Convent, Sternatìa (LE), Italy
Admission: free (check times and single-event details)
LAMPA turns Sternatìa's historic centre, in the heart of Grecia Salentina, into a distributed cultural lab. For three days the village hosts immersive installations, live performances, urban gaming experiences and food trails designed to highlight local memory, identity and production.
LAMPA is aimed at slow, participatory travellers, creative young people, cultural professionals and residents who want to take part in the village's cultural regeneration. The festival seeks to extend visitor stays and to create opportunities linked to digital creativity and the local economy.
The project is produced by a multidisciplinary team with artistic direction by Massimiliano Siccardi and Raffaela Zizzari. The programme includes talks by experts in videogame design for culture, innovation operators and theatre productions that explore memory and identity through contemporary languages. The aim is to position Sternatìa as an innovative cultural destination supported by digital tools, smart info points and a creative coworking space.
Main address: Via Brigida Ancora, 41, 73010 Sternatia (LE), Italy. Events are mainly in the historic centre across squares, cloisters and public spaces.
