Barletta joins the European Night of Museums 2026
The Municipality of Barletta is taking part in the European Night of Museums, a continent-wide initiative to promote cultural heritage. The local event takes place on 20 May 2026 with special evening openings and activities aimed at families and visitors.

Highlights
At the Castle visitors can explore the Civic Museum with its sections: Ancient Gallery, 19th–20th Century Gallery, Cafiero Gallery and the Lapidarium. At Palazzo Della Marra, alongside the permanent De Nittis collection, a temporary exhibition titled "Guardians of Art: from the Monuments Men to the mission of the Carabinieri" will be on display, organized with the Carabinieri Command for the Protection of Cultural Heritage.
The municipal "Loffredo" library offers guided tours and hosts the recently launched "Literary Pharmacy: books that heal the soul", an experimental project that promotes reading as a tool for emotional and social well-being.
