Where: Museo di Roma, Palazzo Braschi, Rome
The Museo di Roma at Palazzo Braschi presents a dedicated exhibition on Ettore Scola, offering an in-depth portrait of the director through previously unseen materials and archival testimonies. The show commemorates Scola ten years after his passing and is designed for a broad audience, with particular attention to younger visitors.
The exhibition is structured in three thematic sections that trace different facets of Scola's work: his formative years and entry into satirical journalism; his creative path as a writer and director; and his relationship with Rome and the social changes of the twentieth century.
The show is curated by Silvia Scola and Alessandro Nicosia and promoted by Rome City Council – Department of Culture and the Capitoline Superintendency for Cultural Heritage. The exhibition is organized by C.O.R. Creare Organizzare Realizzare with support from Zètema Progetto Cultura. A catalog by Silvana Editoriale accompanies the exhibition with images and critical essays.
The layout includes thematic panels, educational content and activities aimed at engaging young audiences. Check the Museo di Roma website for current opening hours and any booking requirements before planning your visit.
