Rieti — "Wearing History": armor and arms of Italic peoples on display

From 8 May 2026 to 6 January 2027 the Museo Diffuso Città di Rieti, in the archaeological section of the Civic Museum (via Sant'Anna 4), presents the exhibition "Wearing History. Before Rome: the mark of the sword, the weight of the shield". The show focuses on weapons, armor and related items from Italic communities, offering both technical and cultural insights into ancient panoplies.

The exhibition pairs original artifacts with modern reproductions so visitors can better perceive materials, finishes and construction methods.
