John Blond in Ivrea: "Lines Without Borders" at Spritz

From May 9 to June 2, 2026, Spritz in Ivrea hosts Lines Without Borders, a solo exhibition by John Blond that stages an immersive journey through installations, posters, objects and site-specific works. The show centers on a repeated black graphic gesture that transforms surfaces and objects into dense, rhythmic visual environments.

The opening is scheduled for Saturday, May 9 at 5:30 PM and will include a public talk with the artist, an opportunity to explore his techniques, influences and the conceptual framework of his practice. The exhibition is conceived as an experiential path rather than a static display: visitors are encouraged to move through the space and engage with works that blur the boundaries between canvas, wall and object.

On display are paintings, posters, original objects and pieces created specifically for Spritz. The collaboration also produced limited-edition items — a backpack and hand-painted bottles — intended as tangible extensions of the artist’s visual language.

Born in 1991 in Catania, John Blond comes from a graffiti and urban culture background: the immediacy of the gesture and the physical occupation of space are central to his visual approach. After professional experience in graphic design and time spent in London, he now lives and works in Milan, focusing on contemporary art projects in Italy and abroad.
