Patù turns into an open-air theatre: "I Borghi Raccontano"

In the historic village of Patù, alleys and monuments are the setting for a project that blends live theatre, local memory and heritage promotion. "I Borghi Raccontano" offers two guided, dramatized routes designed to engage both residents and visitors through sensory storytelling and historical reconstructions.

Program

• Sunday 24 May 2026 — "At Sunset with Lissia"
  Meeting point: Via Aldo Moro, 16:45. A twilight walk led by Lissia, a character between myth and imagination, where dry-stone walls and evening atmospheres become part of the tale.
• Sunday 31 May 2026 — Liborio Romano
  Meeting point: Centopietre, 19:45. The historical figure Liborio Romano guides participants through anecdotes and events that shaped the identity of Capo di Leuca.

Practical information

Organized by Il Teatro delle Quinte, artistic director Luigi Nicola Torricella, with scientific supervision by Archeorete del Mediterraneo. The initiative is part of the "Storie Meridiane" programme of the Municipalities of Patù and Morciano di Leuca, funded by NextGenerationEU and the PNRR Cultura, with the patronage of the Province of Lecce — Salento d'Amare.
