Maja Arte Contemporanea hosts "Tutto ciò che tace", the second solo exhibition by photographer Ilaria Sagaria (Salerno, 1989). The show gathers twenty images produced between 2019 and 2025 alongside a group of previously unseen works that give the exhibition its title.
The exhibition is arranged through visual pairings and resonances: each photograph functions as an emotional self-portrait even when the subject is not the artist herself. Staged elements — from setting to costumes and objects — are gradually stripped away to reveal a more essential use of light and form.
Sagaria’s background in painting informs her photographic language: small details take on symbolic weight and trigger a sense of latent memory. Nature, landscape and the female figure appear as living, suspended presences, situated between dream and archetype and exploring transformation between vulnerability and awareness.
This solo show continues a collaboration born from past residencies and projects, presenting a carefully sequenced body of work intended for slow, contemplative viewing.
Visiting tips: allow 30–45 minutes to experience the full installation. For groups or guided tours, contact the gallery to arrange appointments.
