Arena di Verona: "Campioni del Mondo – Italia Loves UNESCO"

The 5 June 2026 evening will turn the Roman amphitheatre into a stage celebrating Italy’s cultural excellence. The program focuses on grand opera performed by international stars and includes dedicated segments on national gastronomy and Neapolitan song.

Show and scenography: the production will feature operatic tableaux, choreography, mime and live extras. Famous operatic scenes will be staged against the Arena’s monumental backdrop, with more than 500 musicians, dancers and performers on stage.

Gastronomy in Piazza Bra: Piazza Bra will become a culinary stage, showing live the preparation of a large communal dinner for around one thousand people, honoring Italy’s recent UNESCO recognition for its cuisine.

Neapolitan song: the program will include the official launch of the classical Neapolitan song nomination to UNESCO, with a performance route from the Teatro Filarmonico to the Arena and the presence of international UNESCO delegates.

Organization and institutional support: the event is produced by the Fondazione Arena di Verona with support from the Ministry of Culture and collaboration from ministries including Agriculture, Tourism and Foreign Affairs.

Tickets and practical information: tickets are sold through the Arena di Verona’s official channels, the amphitheatre box office and Vivaticket. Check access rules and schedules before attending.
