Now in its 20th edition, from 14 November 2025 to 1 February 2026, Salerno's Artist Lights are ready to transform the city in Campania into one of the most popular destinations of the year with an atmosphere of magic!
Are you ready to discover the event with us?
A project launched in 2006 by the Municipality of Salerno with the aim of decorating and enhancing the city, Artist Lights illuminates squares, streets and historical monuments every year during the Christmas period, transforming the city into a real tourist attraction capable of attracting visitors from all over the world.

In a combination of art, technology and local tradition, the lights tell stories, drawing inspiration from numerous legends from Campania and introducing different thematic paths, such as those paying homage to the symbols of the city or fairy-tale characters, and providing for direct interaction between visitors and citizens through collaboration with cultural associations and schools.

By completely transforming the urban space, Artist Lights allows visitors to discover a side of Salerno unknown to most, highlighting not only the most famous historical monuments and scenic routes but also hidden corners that are often overlooked. An unforgettable journey of light to discover a city that has so much to offer in an atmosphere full of magic!
Once again this year, from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. on 14 November until 1 February, Artist Lights will shine with around 36 works that will leave viewers speechless, including the Prehistoric Garden (Villa Comunale), The Dance of the Jellyfish (Piazza Sedile del Campo), The Angels (Via Duomo), The Butterfly Fairy (Largo Dogana Regia), The Myth of Nello Ferrigno (Via Volpe and Via Nizza), and so on.
