Known for its five editions in Milan, FontinaMI returns this year, from 7 to 22 March 2026, with a special edition in Courmayeur, one of Italy's most renowned ski resorts.

A product that embodies the tradition and culture of the territory in which it is made, Fontina is a tasty and rich cheese that combines the culture and tradition of the Aosta Valley, as it is produced from the milk of local cows in an uncontaminated environment.

Over time, three different variants of the product have been developed to enrich the flavours of various dishes. These are:
Taking place over two weeks from 7 to 22 March 2026 in Courmayeur, FontinaMI on Tour will involve ten restaurants and a mountain refuge in Courmayeur, which will serve dishes based on the link between Milanese and Valle d'Aosta traditions, offering a complimentary amuse-bouche made with Fontina DOP. Among the dishes on offer are sautéed Morgex saffron rice with Fontina DOP fondue at the Auberge de La Maison restaurant, Fontina DOP mousse, chestnuts, saffron honey caviar and gold at the Pierre Alexis 1877 restaurant, and many others.
