Ireland Week returns to Milan for its fifth edition: a nine-day celebration (8–17 March 2026) of Irish culture, music, cinema, crafts and cuisine. The event, supported by the city of Milan, culminates on 17 March with St. Patrick’s Day festivities.

Highlights

• Experience Ireland – Cascina Cuccagna (8 March, 11:30–19:00)

  A multisensory day with over 30 activities: food workshops (bread, chocolate and more), knitwear and craft sessions, dance lessons, Gaelic sports tasters and golf demonstrations. Tourism industry representatives will be present alongside a photographic exhibition of Irish landscapes. Participation is free until places run out.

• "Rigoletto" Navigli Boat with live Irish music (10–17 March, 18:30–21:00)

  Each evening the beloved Navigli boat will be green and host live Irish bands, offering an authentic musical experience on the canals of Milan.

• Bike Food Tour with Rossignoli

  An amateur cycle tour with food tasting stops: the ride starts at the historic Rossignoli shop on Corso Garibaldi, stopping at Hard Rock Cafè (Via Dante), the Old Fox Pub (Piazza Sant’Agostino) and the Darsena, finishing with a final sweet tasting back at Rossignoli.

• Film series – Anteo Palazzo del Cinema (9–13 March)

  Screenings of films in original language with subtitles, showcasing Irish landscapes, stories and performances across genres from adaptations to intimate biopics and rural dramas.

• Fa’ la cosa giusta! fair (13–15 March)

  Ireland will feature at the ethical consumption and sustainable living fair, promoting slow travel, outdoor tourism and routes that highlight the country’s natural side.

• Irish sports

  Activities will include demonstrations and showcases of traditional Irish sports such as Gaelic football and golf-related events.
