Zoomarine – Fun Among Dolphins and Water Slides Just Outside Rome

Autore: Redazione 01/08/2025 13:19

Just a few kilometers from the capital, in Torvaianica (municipality of Pomezia, RM), stands Zoomarine, one of Italy’s most beloved and fascinating parks. Covering over 4 hectares, it was the first Italian park to receive official recognition as a Zoological Garden in 2009 — combining entertainment, environmental education, and biodiversity in one immersive experience.

Zoomarine is home to over 400 animal species, including dolphins, sea lions, seals, lemurs, penguins, giant tortoises, tropical birds, and even alpacas, all living within carefully designed habitats meant to raise awareness among adults and children about the importance of respecting the environment.

Each area of the park is a world of its own: from the Tortoise Oasis to Friends’ Paws Area, from the educational pinniped demonstrations to the renowned dolphin shows, every corner offers wonder and discovery.

Alongside its wildlife attractions, Zoomarine also features rides and adventures for all ages. Families with children can enjoy Draky, Camelot, the Mini Train, Crazy House, and the 4D Cinema, while thrill seekers can challenge themselves on Free Fall, Vertigo, or by venturing through the Age of Dinosaurs.

For birthdays and private events, themed venues such as Oceania Hall and Pirate Hall make every celebration unforgettable.

In the summer months, Zoomarine transforms into a true water park — with attractions like the Pirate Lagoon, Splash Cancun, Flow Rider, and Blue River guaranteeing hours of aquatic fun. Visitors looking for relaxation can unwind in the VIP Tulum, Relax Area, or Malibu Zone, enjoying a complete day of leisure.

When hunger strikes, the park offers plenty of dining options: from the Zoorassic Restaurant to Topo Gigio Bistrot, as well as Dinogrill and Snack Cancun.
