Winter Park Genoa: the amusement park that lights up the holidays

For more than a century, Winter Park Genoa has been one of the most beloved attractions of the Ligurian Christmas season. From December 6, 2024, to January 19, 2025, Ponte Parodi once again hosts this spectacular seaside funfair, featuring over 100 rides and attractions designed for visitors of all ages. It’s the event that officially marks the start of the Genoese Christmas, blending fun, lights, and festive atmosphere.

The grand opening: celebration and surprises

The 2024 season opens on Friday, December 6 at 3 p.m. with the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony and an afternoon packed with entertainment. Stilt-walkers, face-painting artists, and performers will welcome the first visitors, while from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. all rides will be half price. In the following days, the park will also launch a social media contest to win 20 Golden Tickets — unlimited-entry passes valid for the entire duration of the event.

New high-adrenaline attractions

This year introduces two thrilling additions:

• Eclipse – a 50-meter-tall tower reaching speeds of 110 km/h, unique in Italy for its size and intensity.

• Galaxy 360 – a massive pendulum ride performing full 360-degree rotations, even turning passengers completely upside down.

Alongside these new arrivals are all the beloved classics: roller coasters, bumper cars, panoramic rides, and prize games.

A magical atmosphere by the sea

Winter Park is much more than a collection of rides — it’s a world of color, music, and delicious aromas of cotton candy, popcorn, and roasted chestnuts that fill the air. The park becomes a lively meeting point where families, groups of friends, and tourists come together to share moments of pure joy and celebration.

Opening hours and practical information

The park is open from 3 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and from 10:30 a.m. to midnight on holidays. From December 21 to January 6, the holiday schedule applies every day. Access is exclusively from the Darsena entrance, Calata Ansaldo De Mari.
