Vinum Alba 2026: 48th edition launched at Vinitaly

The 48th edition of Vinum Alba was officially presented at Vinitaly in Verona. The event reconfirms its role in promoting Piedmont's wine culture, with activities spanning Alba's historic centre and the surrounding Langhe, Roero and Monferrato hills.

  • Dates: the event opens with the Global Forum on Sustainability on 24 April and continues on 25–26 April and 1, 2, 3 May 2026.
  • Location: Alba historic centre and neighboring wine areas; Castello di Grinzane Cavour will host the opening forum.
  • Offer and scale: over 200 producers and hundreds of labels; 16 protection consortia involved, with a distributed path through squares, courtyards and streets featuring tastings, workshops, cellar tours and family activities.
  • Highlights:
    • Magnum Party by Alta Langa DOCG — Saturday 25 April (18:00–20:00), Sala Beppe Fenoglio; tasting of magnum bottles with snacks (fee €25).
    • Global Forum on Sustainability “From Vision to Action” — 24 April, focusing on policies and practices for sustainable development.
    • Vinum in Cantina — guided visits to cellars with tastings and gastronomic pairings led by renowned chefs.
    • Taste Lab – Castello di Roddi — hands-on cooking classes and gourmet dinners with starred chefs.
  • Tickets: carnet €29 (glass, pouch, single-use breathalyzer, 10 tastings and discount vouchers); lounge coupon 3 tastings for €20.
  • Audience: the event attracts a young audience (65% of visitors last year aged 18–35) and international visitors from numerous countries.

Vinum Alba aims to foster dialogue between territory, tourism and wine culture, bringing together consortia, producers and professionals to promote quality, sustainability and the valorisation of Piedmont's enogastronomic heritage.
