Certamen Ciceronianum in Arpino: a showcase for classical studies

On 10 May 2026 Arpino hosted the award ceremony of the Certamen Ciceronianum Arpinas, a competition that celebrates the study and interpretation of Marcus Tullius Cicero's works. The event, open to students of various nationalities, emphasized the historical and cultural value of the area.

Gianluca Quadrini, attending as a municipal and provincial councillor and ANCI Lazio official, described Arpino as "on top of the world" for the cultural and tourism potential demonstrated by the initiative. Quadrini highlighted how friendship, culture and tourism can enhance local excellence.
