Open-air tourism in the Marche region has evolved from traditional campsites into resort-like facilities, featuring integrated services, refined design and high-quality dining. Daniele Gatti, president of Villaggi Marche, outlined this shift in an interview at the States General of Tourism.

Gatti notes that higher standards are being rewarded by the market, with many families booking summer stays earlier. Still, he warns that public measures are necessary to support and consolidate the sector's transformation.
