Riccione marks April 25: Gad Lerner's civic address and talks on women and memory

On April 25, Riccione honors Liberation Day with a program that blends official commemorations, historical walks and public talks focusing on the legacy of the Resistance and the role of women in Italy's democratic transition.

• Gathering at 9:30 at the municipal residence, followed by a procession and laying of wreaths at local monuments, accompanied by the Mondaino Band.
• 12:00 the official ceremony concludes at the Garden of the Ceccarini Kindergarten with institutional speeches, students' readings and musical moments.
• Civic address by Gad Lerner during the ceremony: reflections on memory and the Resistance, on the occasion of the Republic's 80th anniversary.
• Palazzo del Turismo hosts talks in the afternoon and evening: at 18:00 "La promessa. Storia di una rivoluzione incompleta" with Marianna Aprile and Isabella Ciotti; at 21:00 "La repubblica è donna. Dalla Resistenza al primo voto" with Benedetta Tobagi and Valeria Cicala.
• An afternoon historical walk to Montegridolfo explores sites of the Gothic Line, starting from the Museum of the Gothic Line.

The program combines civic remembrance with cultural content—exhibitions, poster art and public discussions—aimed at reinforcing collective memory. Most events are free subject to available seating; some sessions may require reservation.
