The Settimane Musicali festival returns to Vicenza for its 35th edition under the title I canti della terra. The program includes evening concerts, school matinées and citywide initiatives, with Teatro Olimpico serving as the symbolic and artistic center.
The festival is part of a three-year plan launched in 2025 and maintains a focus on engaging the city, supporting young musicians and ensuring high artistic standards, blending traditional repertoire with contemporary expressions and featuring established performers alongside emerging talents.
The festival opens with the 15th National Piano Competition – Lamberto Brunelli Prize, featuring the semifinal at Teatro San Marco on April 17 and the final at Teatro Olimpico on April 19, accompanied by the Orchestra Regionale Filarmonia Veneta conducted by Riccardo Lucadello.
The lineup also includes concert evenings, educational performances and events staged in the city's monumental sites, aiming to highlight Vicenza's historic heritage through music.
The Settimane Musicali offer a chance to experience Vicenza both as a city of monuments and as a living stage where music and heritage meet.
