Maggio Museale at Sapienza: special program for the European Night of Museums 2026

On Saturday, 23 May 2026 Sapienza University's campus in Rome hosts Maggio Museale, an event connected to the European Night of Museums. Free entry offers an afternoon and evening of exhibitions, workshops and performances suitable for families, students and culture enthusiasts.

Program highlights

Activities run from 15:00 to 24:00. Highlights include:

• thematic guided tours of museum collections;
• temporary exhibits and permanent displays;
• educational and playful workshops for children and teens;
• seminars and scientific presentations;
• an evening concert in the Aula Odeion of the Museum of Classical Art by the Ensamble MuSa Blues conducted by M° Stefano Ciuffi.

The Eurotales laboratory – Museum of European Languages returns, hosted within the Museum of Classical Art.
