Val Comelico Roots Festival: music, nature and historic villages in the Dolomites

The Val Comelico Roots Festival debuts as a dispersed event aimed at enhancing historic villages and the Dolomite landscape by combining live music, outdoor discovery and local gastronomy. Organized by the Val Comelico Tourist Consortium together with the Municipality of Comelico Superiore and curated by A‑Z Blues, the festival is part of a PNRR-funded project to support small cultural sites and rural identity.

The festival format offers immersive days in town centres and on valley trails, pairing musical performances with guided walks and local food tasting opportunities.

Program and activities

• Live concerts featuring blues, jazz, acoustic and singer-songwriter acts from Italy and Europe.
• Food & Drink area showcasing regional culinary specialities.
• Outdoor activities: guided hikes led by alpine and environmental guides, and easy nature routes reachable on foot from the villages.
