Santo Stefano del Sole selected for “Primavera nei Borghi”

Santo Stefano del Sole was chosen by Archeoclub d’Italia to take part in "Primavera nei Borghi", a national initiative promoting small historic towns and local traditions. It is the only municipality from the province of Avellino among the 19 participating villages.

The event offers visitors an immersive route through monuments, local crafts and regional flavors, aiming to raise awareness and protect local heritage. The selection recognizes the cooperative effort of local authorities and associations in cultural preservation.

The mayor, Gerardo Santoli, welcomed the selection as a key step in the town’s development plan. The administration thanked Prof. Flora Rizzo, National Vice President of Archeoclub d’Italia, and Prof. Ileniza D’Oria, President of Archeoclub Avellino, for their commitment.
