An adventure inside Narni Indoor

Beneath Piazza Garibaldi — in the historic center of Narni — lies NarniAdventures, an indoor adventure park built within the underground heart of the Umbrian town.

Inaugurated on April 13, 2019, this fascinating space is housed inside the Lacus, a hypogeal environment dating back to the 13th century, featuring a stone barrel vault and traces of a Roman floor in opus spicatum — a tangible reminder of Narni’s long history, the ancient Narnia.

Here, among Tibetan bridges, zip lines, artificial climbing walls, and evocative historical reconstructions, visitors live an experience that combines the thrill of exploration with the pleasure of discovering the city’s ancient past.

The NarniAdventures course is accessible to participants 130 cm tall and above, and includes three aerial routes of increasing difficulty, as well as an indoor climbing wall. All activities are carried out in complete safety, with certified equipment and qualified staff.

But NarniAdventures is not just about physical excitement: thanks to its real underground waterfall, the park also offers an educational dimension, raising awareness of the importance of water as a primary resource and introducing visitors to speleology — the scientific study of caves and the underground world — as a field of research, not only adventure.

Opening hours and reservations

The park is open all year round:

  • Every Sunday and public holiday, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Weekday visits available by reservation for groups (minimum 10 people), school trips, events, birthday parties, and team-building activities.
During the Christmas holidays, NarniAdventures is open every holiday except December 25 and December 31.
Visitors are required to wear comfortable clothing and closed shoes.

Prices

  • 1 aerial route: €5
  • 2 routes: €8
  • 3 routes: €10
  • 1 climbing session: €5
Discounts are available for university students, upon verification of student status on site.

How to get there

The park is located directly beneath Piazza Garibaldi, in the historic center of Narni (TR). It can be easily reached on foot from the main parking areas or via shuttle and local public transport from the train station.
