Amid the Marche mountains, the Eldorado Water Park

A corner of pure summer. Nestled among the green hills of the Marche region, on the slopes of Monte San Vicino and just a short distance from the Sibillini Mountains, lies the Eldorado Water Park in Apiro (MC), covering an area of over 30,000 square meters. Founded in 1985 by Rudy Panatta, it has become a landmark for families, groups, and young people seeking fun and relaxation — all at affordable prices.

Attractions and Relaxation

The highlight of the park is the Big Twins, twin 115-meter kamikaze slides, among the longest in Europe, complete with a motorized lift system. Nearby are deep pools with diving boards, the winding Anaconda slide, Foam tracks with rafts, and a 1,300 m² lagoon with a central island that recreates the feel of a real beach.

For those looking to unwind, there’s the heated 24-seat whirlpool with colorful water jets and the charming “nap corner” surrounded by greenery. Additional facilities include a shaded picnic area, a beach volleyball court, a kids’ club with entertainment, a show area, and a playground equipped for younger children.

Opening Hours and Services

The park is open daily from mid-June to the end of August, with continuous hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Pools are closed between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. for cleaning and filtration.

Guests can enjoy changing rooms, baby-changing stations, dedicated parking, bars, restaurants, and a well-stocked bazaar with all the essentials for a day at the water park.

Just 2 km away, in the historic center of Apiro, stands the Eldorado Hotel, where visitors can stay overnight with a park + hotel package.

How to Get There

• From Rome: take the SS76 toward Ancona, exit at “Apiro Mergo,” then follow signs for Apiro and the park.

• From Pescara or Bologna: take the A14, exit at Ancona Nord, follow SS76 toward Fabriano, and exit at “Apiro Mergo.”

• From Macerata: follow signs for Cingoli, then Apiro.
