The cultural tourism initiative aimed at social inclusion for residents aged over 65 returns with three spring outings designed to rediscover Marche's towns and historic centres. The programme encourages social interaction, counters isolation and strengthens community ties through guided tours and shared tastings.
Guided walk through the historic centre, visit to the Luigi Mercantini Theatre and the Museum of Rural and Artisan Life. Ripatransone is noted for panoramic views, charming alleys and strong culinary traditions.
Tour of the town centre, the Collegiate Church of Sant’Esuperanzio, Palazzo Castiglioni and the Church of San Filippo, highlighting architectural and natural features.
Stroll through the historic centre with a visit to the Cathedral of San Ciriaco (overlooking the Arch of Trajan and the old port), the Palazzo del Senato, Piazza del Plebiscito and the National Archaeological Museum of the Marche.
Each outing includes an expert guide, a gentle-paced route suited to over-65 participants and concludes with a convivial tasting of typical products and local wines. The visits aim to showcase the artistic, spiritual and culinary heritage of the towns visited.
