On the occasion of the Sicilian Cultural Heritage Day, the Tindari Archaeological Park is opening its sites free of charge to the public. Scheduled for March 10, the initiative targets residents, families and students and aims to promote the local archaeological heritage through direct experiences among excavations, mosaics and guided routes.
The day offers a chance to learn about research, protection and promotion practices applied to the archaeological sites along the Tyrrhenian coast of Messina. Visitors can view artifacts, watch practical demonstrations and engage with professionals working in excavations and conservation labs.
The initiative contributes to ongoing efforts to celebrate and protect the island’s cultural heritage, reinforcing the connection between communities and their archaeological treasures.
