Spoleto launches partnership between municipality and IIS “Spagna‑Campani”

On December 4, at the IIS Tecnico‑professionale “Spagna‑Campani” premises, the Municipality of Spoleto and the school signed an agreement to start a work‑study (alternanza scuola‑lavoro) programme for students enrolled in the Tourism course.

Institutional attendees: the signing was attended by Headteacher Iallorenzi and councilors Giovanni Maria Angelini Paroli (Tourism) and Luigina Renzi (Training).

The agreement foresees that students, divided into small groups, will carry out practical activities involving direct contact with visitors, gaining on‑the‑job skills useful for tourist reception and local promotion.

• Work‑study activated for 18 students from year 3 and year 4 of the Tourism course.
• Goal: strengthen students’ practical skills and improve the city’s reception services.
• Direct collaboration between the school and municipal administration for training projects and internships.

The initiative contributes to local efforts to promote cultural heritage and sustainable tourism, offering young people tangible training and sector entry opportunities.
