The educational initiative “Through the School Gate”, promoted by the Italian State Police together with the Foggia Territorial School Office, will take place on 21 April 2026 at 10:30 in the Aula Magna of IISS “L. Einaudi”. The event aims to strengthen dialogue between institutions and schools and to provide practical tools on safety and legality.

Students and teachers from nearby secondary schools will attend, including Liceo Scientifico “A. Volta” and the ITET institutes “Notarangelo Rosati Giannone Masi” and “Blaise Pascal”.

The programme, delivered by police officers and experts, will address key topics for young people:

• gender-based violence and bullying, including online forms;
• responsible use of the internet and social media;
• road safety and prevention in railway environments;
• prevention of substance and alcohol addiction.

Opening remarks will be given by headmaster Lanfranco Barisano, Foggia Police Chief (Questore) Alfredo D’Agostino and the head of the Territorial School Office Vito Alfonso. The project introduction will be presented by First Senior Officer Antonio D’Introno.

The event includes the screening of a short film by Liceo “A. Volta” students, a theatrical performance by the “Piccolo Teatro” youth workshop and a final open debate with students, reaffirming the school’s role as an educational hub.
