Fiano Romano marks April 25, 2026: procession, ANPI choir and school

April 25, 2026: Liberation Day commemoration in Fiano Romano

The Municipality of Fiano Romano has scheduled a series of public events on April 25 to commemorate Liberation Day. Activities include a school project titled “Towards April 25: walking through the streets of Fiano Romano” and public remembrance moments with historical documents and music.

• 10:00 AM – Courtyard of Castello Orsini: tribute to local partisans and Italian Military Internees (IMI) with display of period documents and a performance by the ANPI Choir “Bella ciao”, organized by the ANPI “Teresa Noce” section.
• 12:00 PM – Institutional procession: departure from Piazza G. Matteotti with civic, military and religious authorities and the Fiano Romano Municipal Band, followed by the laying of a wreath at the Monument to the Fallen in the Parco delle Rimembranze.

The ceremony will include a blessing by Don Maurizio Medici, remarks from the President of the ANPI “Teresa Noce” section and a speech by Mayor Davide Santonastaso. The event is free and open to the public.
