Spiaggia di Porto Giunco: the tropical jewel of Villasimius

Autore: Redazione 28/08/2025 09:08

The beach of Porto Giunco, located in the Villasimius area, is one of the most beautiful and spectacular bays in Sardinia, where the turquoise sea and the Stagno di Notteri (Notteri Pond) in the background create a perfect paradise for nature lovers.

The sea is a true dream postcard. The waters of Porto Giunco are indeed ideal for swimming and snorkeling, and the colors range from turquoise to deep blue. The nature, composed of dunes and junipers, hosts pink flamingos and creates a unique contrast between the sea and the lagoon. All visitors are always enchanted by the beauty of this place, and we recommend everyone to go.

It is perfect for relaxation, contemplation, but also for a family trip. It is, in fact, a very peaceful place. Nearby trails also allow for excursions toward Capo Carbonara, which offers spectacular views of the Villasimius coast.

Just a few minutes away is the lively center of Villasimius, with its beaches, which combines nature and entertainment. After a day at the beach, you can go to Villasimius to taste the typical local dishes for a lovely and elegant dinner. Bring a mask and a camera: Porto Giunco awaits you.
