The Six Ways Lazio – Historic Homes Tour returns to Olevano Romano with a double bill of classical guitar at Palazzo Colonna-Marcucci. The project aims to promote regional historic residences through live music events.
This concert represents the fourth stop of a month-long tour that began in late April. The initiative uses live music to enhance monument sites: the palace's concert hall is noted for its excellent acoustics, perfect for guitar recitals.
Performers: classical guitarists Carlo Geraci and Michele Di Filippo. Both artists have performed in national and international festivals; Geraci is also active in musicological research and new commissions, while Di Filippo combines performance with composition and recordings.
The venue: Palazzo Colonna-Marcucci is part of the medieval castle of Olevano Romano, a fortified complex dating to the 13th century. Conservatively restored in the 20th century, it retains original structures across multiple levels. Attending the concert allows visitors to experience both the musical programme and the historic setting.
