"Secondo me": Diego Bassani's solo exhibition at the Towers of Feltre Castle

The exhibition Secondo me by local artist Diego Bassani opens on Saturday 11 April 2026 at 17:30 in the Towers of Feltre Castle. The show brings together 33 works born from impressions, places, encounters and memories, presenting a personal visual language based on color and gesture.

• Dates: opening 11 April 2026; on view until 11 June 2026.
• Visiting hours: Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, 10:00–13:00 and 15:00–19:00.
• Venue: Towers of Feltre Castle (Castello di Alboino).
• Works: 33 pieces reflecting memory and meetings, with a strong gestural approach influenced by American abstract expressionism.

Born in Feltre in 1993, Bassani studied graphic arts and earned a degree in Visual Arts and New Technologies in Venice. His practice has developed through atelier work and visits to key contemporary collections and exhibitions, shaping a shift from figurative beginnings toward a more abstract, tactile expression.

The exhibition is part of the News & Talk 2.0 initiative, designed to engage young people and the wider community on cultural and territorial topics, including the role of art and music in professional development. The project is included in the three-year youth policy plan of ATS VEN_02 – Feltre and is funded by the Veneto Region.
