Anticipation is growing for the opening of MUBIT, the new museum dedicated to Italian basketball, which will officially open on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Housed in a section of PalaDozza (Piazza Azzarita at the intersection with Via Calori), the museum launches with an exhibition focused on the national team and landmark moments from the sport's history in Italy.
The inauguration will feature notable personalities who have shaped the national and club basketball scene. Several well-known coaches and players with strong ties to the city and its arenas are expected to attend, adding historical and emotional value to the opening.

Regular opening hours: the museum will be open from Thursday to Monday, 11:00–18:00.
Admission: standard ticket priced at €5, with reduced rates available. Free entry for those who book online for the inauguration.
Organization: the initiative is promoted with the involvement of the municipality and the national federation, which has appointed a dedicated contact for the museum area to support curation and historical preservation.
