Quadrifluox is a curatorial project that reimagines fluorescent ink as an autonomous expressive medium. Curated by Piergiuseppe Molinar, the exhibition examines the relationship between paper, print and perception: under UV (Wood) light, printed images shift, expanding to reveal hidden details and visual layers.
The show, held at Palazzo Pigorini in Parma, features a selection of printed works that trace Quadrifluox’s development—from typographic experiments to editorial productions and graphic novels that use fluorescence as a storytelling device.
Amid a screen-dominated era, Quadrifluox redirects attention to the printed object, redefining paper as an active medium capable of emitting light and interacting with digital brightness. The exhibition combines technical precision and creative experimentation, showing how algorithms, printing processes and craft-based techniques produce striking visual results.
Location: Palazzo Pigorini, Parma. Exhibition period: until 2 June 2026.
Piergiuseppe (Beppe) Molinar, an expert in printing techniques and color management, has led the Quadrifluox research since 2018, collaborating with educational institutions, technicians and creatives. The works on display stem from typographic research, editorial projects and generative design workshops.
